Philippe & Bailey
Settled in Bagneux, at the gates of Paris, I have been welcoming travellers from all over the world for more than ten years. For a decade I managed short-term rentals in central Paris, where I learned what matters most — a warm yet discreet welcome, clear communication in French, English and Spanish, and the attention to detail that turns a simple night into a good memory.
I created La Maison de Bailey because I know how hard it is to travel with a dog. Very few places accept pets at all — and among those that do, many barely "tolerate" them, without providing anything for them. Here it's the opposite: your dog is expected, and everything is designed with them in mind.
Bailey is my golden retriever — gentle, sociable and incredibly welcoming, and a little too slobbery :-) He gives the house its name and its soul. He loves long walks in the woods across the street, meeting other dogs at the dog park, and napping on the sunny terrace.
Sociable with other dogs, he happily welcomes yours — after a gentle introduction, at your pace and his.
Good to know: for now, we host dogs only, out of respect for Bailey's balance.
